How does Security Bank collect my information?

  • Make deposits or withdrawals from your account
  • Show your driver's license

We also collect your personal information from others such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.

  • Affiliates from using your information to market to you

Affiliates

Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.

  • Security Bank has no affiliates.
Nonaffiliates

Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.

  • Security Bank does not share with nonaffiliates so they can marketing to you.
Joint Marketing

A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

  • Security Bank's joint marketing partners include or may include investment companies, insurance companies, mortgage companies and market research firms.

Online & Mobile Banking Privacy

Protecting your personal information online

To further protect your accounts, we encourage you not to access personal bank accounts or sensitive personal data on unsecured public Wi-Fi networks. Don't leave your computer or mobile device unattended in a public place and set password-protection for accessing your phone. Learn more ways to protect yourself online

When using the Security Bank mobile app, the application will request access to information stored on your mobile device such as location, camera, contacts, or other features you are enrolled in to enrich and simplify your own user experience, improve our services and provide additional security to protect your account.

It is important for you to understand that:

  • Before granting access to this information, you will be prompted to give the application permission.
  • If you do not wish to grant permission, you may decline.
  • If you later change your mind, permissions can be updated in your device's settings.
