Calling All Young Designers!

Security Bank is partnering with the The Lemon-Aid Project at this year's Shred Day to celebrate community and support youth entrepreneurism and philanthropy. While we wait to see them in action, the Lemon-Aid Project is looking for student artists to help design their 2025 volunteer t-shirts. Hundreds of volunteers across Tulsa will wear the winning design this Labor Weekend as they set up lemonade stands to raise money for charity.

T-shirt design contest:

  1. Open to Tulsa area students grades K-12.
  2. Create a design using this year's theme, "Spark Change One Lemon At A Time"
  3. Take a picture or scan your image and submit artwork to The Lemon-Aid Project by April 18

Security Bank Partners with The Lemon-Aid Project at Community Shred Day

As Security Bank celebrates 25 years of serving our community, we are teaming up with The Lemon-Aid Project to support their work to empower kids to spark change in their community. Lemon-Aid Project volunteers will be on-site during our Annual Community Shred Day on May 17 to serve customers and visitors a refreshing glass of lemonade and share details about their Labor Day Weekend events. Stop by between 9 a.m. and noon to shred your old sensitive documents and enjoy a glass of lemonade that will benefit a local charity - Tulsa Changemakers.

The Lemon-Aid Project empowers kids of all ages to make a difference in their community by turning a simple lemonade stand into a powerful tool change. Each year, over Labor Day weekend, the city-wide charity event invites kids to set up lemonade stands to raise money for those in need. The free and fun Tulsa tradition empowers kids of all ages to be impactful entrepreneurs and philanthropists within their community. This year, all proceeds from Lemon-Aid stands will benefit Tulsa Changemakers. You can learn more about volunteering over Labor Day Weekend at Shred Day or visit The Lemon-Aid Project website at thelemonaidproject.org.
